As a first-generation Filipino-American, I was instilled with strong family values and work ethic by my dad, Ben, an accomplished civil engineer in our great city of Jacksonville, and by my mom, Linda, who’s dedicated her life as a teacher for more than 24 years. Together, Ben and Linda raised five kids; I am the youngest.
I am not out of touch
I am a Jacksonville Native.....
I’m a Jacksonville, Fla., native, attended Bishop Kenny High School, and graduated with cum-laude honors. Later, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice at the Florida State University. After I graduated in 2007, I interned for the U.S. House of Representatives, and worked hard to move up the ladder to become a senior policy advisor. Currently, I own a small business and proudly serve as Vice-President to the Bayanihan Club Incorporated – a Filipino American nonpolitical 501(c)3 charitable organization.
It’s Time for a Change
Vote for Joe
In the last decade, both parties had their chance as the majority party in the legislative branch to make good on their word to the American people. It is evident that those in Washington are either unwilling or incapable of finding common ground for the greater good. The current status quo cares more about who gets the credit rather than actually solving problems for regular people like us. You deserve a government that works for you—not the other way around. The problems in Washington didn’t happen overnight. The solutions won’t come as easy, either. But together, we can “course correct” our present trajectory to build the future your children deserve.
The issues I believe in and believe that I can be a lightning rod for change within Congress.

Concerned About Washington
My name is Joe Millado and I’m a Regular Joe—just like you. And I, too, am just as concerned about the current direction our great country is heading toward. We’ve kicked the can down the road so far in Washington, and we are at the end of it.
Our Country is Worth Fighting For
The current state of the union should be shouldered by every one of us. The good news is we can start doing something about it today. In our country’s history, we’ve had to make tough decisions at the right moments to get us back on track. We can either go backwards—or plot a new course forward.
I am a Good candidate
I look forward to hearing from you and how I can effectively represent your views and values. Let’s have the conversations we never had and ask the questions that were never asked. Share your ideas, frustrations, and experiences with me so I can tell your story to those that prioritize special interest over doing the right thing. I’m running for Florida’s 3rd Congressional district because I can no longer stand by and do nothing while our elected officials continue to fail. Let’s stop sending empty promises to Washington, and start sending a qualified candidate right for the job.
